Brooke has been working as a pediatric physical therapist for over 12 years in a variety of clinical settings, including school systems, early intervention, and outpatient settings. She received her Doctorate degree in physical therapy from Nazareth College in 2011, and is still involved with their physical therapy program.
Her passion is helping children maximize their gross motor skills to best function in the community. She is well versed in seeing children with complex physical presentations, including those with bracing and mobility device needs. She has a certification in kinesiotaping and is proficient with many functional taping techniques.

Sonya has devoted her career to working with children in a wide variety of settings to include the neonatal intensive care unit, early intervention home setting, schools, hospital rehabilitation centers, and outpatient clinics. With a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Buffalo in 2010, she then went on to become a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric Physical Therapy in 2022 through the American Physical Therapy Association.
She founded Muddy Sneakers Physical Therapy PLLC in Victor, NY. Sonya believes in creating a welcoming space to allow children to optimize their physical independence, and a space where we celebrate each milestone in a child’s journey; however large or small. She looks forward to serving the children and families of this region.
Outside of the clinic setting, Sonya enjoys running, camping, and spending time with her husband and three children – Adelyn, Lexi, and Beckham. She is co-founder of Inclusion In Motion and continues to actively bring the first universally designed and certified playground to the United States; located in Canandaigua, NY.
